SENIOR FULL STACK DEVELOPER, UNITED KINGDOM
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with at least 4 years of commercial experience including having worked at a SaaS business for at least 2 years to join our team. Smartzer is an award winning video and livestream platform which allows users to make their video content interactive and shoppable, whilst providing detailed user and video based analytics.
Smartzer’s clients include brands, retailers, publishers and production companies that use the platform either as an ongoing subscription or for specific projects. We are a UK based small business with a hybrid London office and work from home structure.
As a senior full stack developer at Smartzer you will be mainly working on all areas of our SaaS platform to create the best experience for our users in both our interactive video editing suite and our video player. You are self-motivated and have a passion for seeing your code come to life in front of millions of users around the world. You thrive on creating a high quality experience with your code.
We need you to have experience in the following:
-React
-NodeJS
-TypeScript & JavaScript
-CSS/Sass
-Saas Experience
If you also have experience in any of these, that’s a great plus:
-Jest
-TanStack React Query
-Redux
-Exposure to Google Cloud or other major cloud providers
-React frontend testing
-E-commerce CMS (Shopify, Salesforce etc)
-Video / livestream web technologies
-CI/CD where code you write can be on production within a short period
Your primary responsibilities will be:
-Working on both front and backend of the Smartzer platform
-Roadmap and sprint planning together with the rest of the engineering team
-Build and maintain reusable code and libraries to be shared throughout the Smartzer ecosystem
-Ensure that code is well structured, efficient and optimised
-Keep abreast of latest and emerging technologies
-Code reviews to ensure a consistent quality across the Smartzer system
-Occasionally participating in technology integration discussions
